The Environment Forum is dedicated to exploring new work in the arts and humanities that reframes or reimagines the relationship of humanity to the rest of nature. Sarah Dimick is a literary scholar working in the environmental humanities. Her work is located at the intersection of climate science and global Anglophone literatures of the 20th and 21st centuries. In her broader research and teaching, she engages environmental justice, postcolonial and feminist environmentalisms, animal studies, petroaesthetics, and theories of the environmental future. Her writing appears in ISLE: Interdisciplinary Studies in Literature and the Environment, Mosaic: An Interdisciplinary Critical Journal, and Edge Effects, among other venues.
