A Call to Action on Climate

The world is facing a climate emergency. Harvard University’s distinctive breadth, depth, and position as a leader in higher education give us both an opportunity and a responsibility to spur meaningful change globally and empower the next generation with hope and optimism.

Dialogue that leads to progress

The Accelerator undertakes productive engagement by conducting outreach to stakeholders—in nongovernmental organizations, corporations, social activist groups, state and local government, civil society, and affected communities—to understand their needs, interests, and positions. The outreach informs research taking place at Harvard as well as strategy for programming convenings, which typically take place at Harvard. Dialogue is expertly facilitated to ensure a constructive outcome, and the Accelerator sustains leadership and outreach after each convening, providing research, analysis, and tools that aid stakeholders in implementing solutions.
