Established in 2017, the mission of the Harvard T. H. Chan School of Public Health Environmental Justice Student Organization is to create space for students, faculty, and the Harvard-wide community to discuss and raise awareness about environmental justice (EJ) issues locally and globally, and work towards addressing these injustices in our communities at Harvard, locally, and beyond.

Salata Institute Funds New Student Organization Collaborations in Sustainable Transit, Environmental Justice

The Salata Institute for Climate and Sustainability has awarded two new collaborative student projects through the Student Organization Funding Program. This Fall, one awarded group will conduct a campus-wide transit survey to help improve sustainable transportation options on campus and one awarded group will organize a conference exploring the intersection of law, public health, and environmental justice.

Salata Institute Student Organization Funding Program

The Salata Institute’s Student Organization Funding Program supports student organizations across Harvard University that jointly undertake climate-focused initiatives. The purpose of the Program is to encourage student groups with a shared interest in climate change, to collaborate in organizing programs, projects, and events that enrich student learning and contribute to the University’s efforts to meet the global climate challenge.
