Two Postdoctoral Fellowship Opportunities at Harvard D^3 Climate and Sustainability Impact Lab
The Climate and Sustainability Impact Lab at the Digital Data Design (D^3) Institute at Harvard invites applications for two Postdoctoral Fellows for the academic year 2024-2025. This is an exciting opportunity to join a team and contribute to new research.
The mission of the Climate and Sustainability Impact Lab is to advance our understanding of how digital transformation and the use of artificial intelligence in management and governance practices deliver measurable financial, environmental, and social impacts. The Climate and Sustainability Impact Lab is looking for postdoctoral fellows with demonstrated research interests in business and climate and sustainability topics. The Postdoctoral Fellows will work with Lab faculty Christian Kaps, Shirley Lu, George Serafeim, Mike Toffel, and/or Peter Tufano.
The Lab is part of the Digital Data Design (D^3) Institute at Harvard. D^3 conducts research at the intersection of academia and practice. There are no teaching requirements for this position.
Candidates should have some familiarity with some or all of the following:
- Causal analysis and experimental design: difference-in-differences and fixed effects models, instrumental variables, treatment selection, power analysis, analysis of attrition and non-compliance, analysis of heterogeneous effects and interference
- Designing lab experiments, field experiments, and/or surveys
- One or more statistical packages (e.g., Stata or R)
- Creating and managing large datasets
- Machine learning skills
