Tamara Kerzhner
Tamara Kerzhner is an Assistant Professor of Urban and Regional Planning at Technion Israeli Institute of Technology. Her research interests are at the intersection of transportation and labor in urban economics, planning, and development. She completed her PhD in City and Regional Planning at UC Berkeley in 2023, completed a postdoctoral research position at the University of Toronto School of Cities in 2025, and has conducted research in Kenya, Malawi, Uganda, the DRC, Israel, and Palestine.
The Salata Institute
The Salata Institute supports interdisciplinary research that leads to real-world action, including high-risk/high-reward projects by researchers already working in the climate area and new endeavors that make it easier for Harvard scholars, who have not worked on climate problems, to do so. Faculty interested in the Climate Research Clusters program should note an upcoming deadline for concepts on April 1, 2024.
