
Tamara Kerzhner
Tamara Kerzhner is postdoctoral researcher at the School of Cities at the University of Toronto. Her research interests are at the intersection of transportation and labour in urban economics, planning and development. She completed her PhD in City and Regional Planning at UC Berkeley in 2023, and has worked and conducted research in Kenya, Malawi, Uganda, the DRC, Israel and Palestine. She is incoming Assistant Professor at the Department of Urban and Regional Planning at the Technion from October 2025.
The Salata Institute
The Salata Institute supports interdisciplinary research that leads to real-world action, including high-risk/high-reward projects by researchers already working in the climate area and new endeavors that make it easier for Harvard scholars, who have not worked on climate problems, to do so. Faculty interested in the Climate Research Clusters program should note an upcoming deadline for concepts on April 1, 2024.
