About

The Harvard Climate Blog educates and informs the public about the greatest global challenge of our time: climate change. Harvard faculty research must be accessible and useful. These jargon-free explainers translate academia for a lay reader, helping a wide audience understand the risks and opportunities of climate change, while considering how to prepare for and mitigate its effects. All materials are written by subject-matter experts at the forefront of climate research and its applications in practice and policy, from atmospheric chemistry to carbon taxes. All perspectives expressed in the Harvard Climate Blog are those of the authors and not of Harvard University or the Salata Institute for Climate and Sustainability. Any errors are the authors’ own.
