COP 30 in Belém marked an important chapter for global climate governance and for Brazil’s leadership in climate negotiations. This event brings together Harvard community members who participated in the conference to share insights, reflections, and perspectives from their on-the-ground experience at COP 30.

The session will include brief remarks from participants, followed by a moderated discussion and space for audience questions. Topics will include negotiation dynamics, emerging policy priorities, regional perspectives, and the implications of Brazil’s role in shaping climate action going forward.

This event welcomes students, faculty, researchers, and practitioners interested in climate governance, international negotiations, and Brazil’s role in the global climate landscape.

Hosted by The Harvard Brazilian Association of Students and Scholars (HBASS), the Brazil Caucus at the Harvard Kennedy School, and the Harvard Griffin GSAS Science Policy Group. Supported by The Salata Institute for Climate and Sustainability Student Climate Activities Funding Program.
