During October 2026, Dr. Dan Schrag, Co-Director of the Belfer Center's Science, Technology and Public Policy Program, and clean energy entrepreneur Michael Skelly will host four discussions on carbon-free energy and the U.S. electric grid. The reading list introduces four practical debates shaping renewable energy development. The selections favor journalistic essays, policy explainers, and case studies written for highly educated readers who do not need a strong foundation in electricity policy.

Session Four: Abundance and Renewable Power: Key Reforms to Make It Happen
Discussion Focus: Federal lands, connect-and-manage interconnection, selective tariff reform, and development by right.
