The Politics of Climate Change and Health: Why international collaboration is now more important than ever

Join the Salata Institute and the Southeast Asia Initiative of the Harvard Asia Center for a lunch and learn to hear from Professor and Executive Director of Sunway Centre for Planetary Health, Dr. Jemaliah Mahmood, who will talk about the Politics of Climate Change and Health and why international collaboration is now more important than ever. Dr. Mahmood will then be joined for a discussion moderated by Dr. David Duong, Director of Global Primary Health Care at the Harvard Medical School Center for Primary Care and the Division of Global Health Equity at the Brigham and Women’s Hospital. Other speakers will include environment defender and community activist from the Philippines, Derek Cabe and Dr. Bach Tran, Professor of Medicine, Dean of Public Health and climate researcher at Vietnam National University. Open to the Harvard community only.
