Join Harvard chemists for a hands-on exploration of the chemistry hidden in the insect world. Discover how beetles defend themselves with hot chemical sprays, why butterfly wings can shimmer with brilliant colors, how tiny insects help make bright red pigments, and how fireflies glow in the dark. Through live demonstrations and colorful reactions, visitors will see how chemistry helps insects communicate, protect themselves, and light up the natural world!
