Next Gen Food Systems Conference
Friday, Apr 24, 2026, 12:00 pm - 5:30 pm
Student Organization Center at Hilles, 59 Shepard St, Cambridge
Next Gen Food Systems is an exciting satellite event taking place this April at Harvard University, hosted by Harvard Undergraduate Plant-Based in partnership with Food 4 Thought Innovations Inc. and in collaboration with the Mignone Center for Career Success (MCS). This forward-looking event will bring together students, innovators, and industry leaders to explore the future of sustainable and plant-based food. Programming will include a keynote speaker, an interactive consulting challenge addressing real-world food system issues, a career fair featuring mission-driven organizations, and a lively debate on the ethics and future of factory farming.
The career fair has historically featured 20–30 organizations spanning diverse sectors such as marketing, law and policy, nonprofit advocacy, food entrepreneurship, and mission-driven business. Many participating organizations this year will be actively recruiting students for internships, part-time and full-time roles, as well as volunteering opportunities. Next Gen Food Systems offers a unique opportunity to engage with emerging ideas, build connections, and help shape a more sustainable food future.
