The Energy Seminar at Harvard hosts weekly seminars with leading voices in climate and energy, offering a unique opportunity to engage with the founders, investors, executives, and policymakers driving decarbonization.
Join us on 11/3 for a seminar with Tim Berendt, Director of Discovery & Insights & Corporate Venture Capital at NRG Energy, for a presentation titled “Innovation and Investments at NRG Energy." At NRG, Tim helps to oversee all Corporate Venture Capital strategic investment activities along with enterprise Consumer Intelligence research with an emphasis on an outward looking approach. Previously, he led corporate venture capital and business development teams at Progressive Insurance, Jacobs Engineering, Aifred Health, and Blue Cross Blue Shield of MA. He is an adjunct professor at Mass Art College of Art & Design, where he has taught entrepreneurship and design courses, and previously taught at the Wentworth Institute of Technology. Tim earned his Master of Business Administration at the F.W. Olin Graduate School of Business at Babson College and has a B.A. from College of the Holy Cross.
