Jonathan Schrag is Senior Advisor for Climate and Energy at MassDevelopment, the Commonwealth's development finance agency. He works to amplify and focus the agency's finance, real estate and community development programs on climate and the Massachusetts energy transition. From 2023 to 2026 he worked within Governor Healey's Office of Climate as Deputy Chief. In prior roles he has served as a consultant to the Massachusetts Attorney General on the future of natural gas, deputy administrator of the division on public utilities for the state of Rhode Island, and as the first administrator of the Regional Greenhouse Gas Initiative.
