Ariel Horowitz, Head of Market Strategy, Eolian; former Deputy Director of Grid Modernization, U.S. Department of Energy, will speak at the next Energy Seminar on Monday, March 23rd.

Join for a deep dive on the future of the grid: how capacity markets work, why they have failed, and what’s next.

Ariel Horowitz is the Head of Market Strategy at Eolian, where she is focused on scaling impact in the private sector. Before Eolian, she served as Deputy Director of Grid Modernization at the U.S. Department of Energy, she built and led an organization responsible for delivering complex, high-priority national-scale energy programs. Previously, Ariel held the position of Senior Program Director at the Massachusetts Clean Energy Center, overseeing multiple energy programs, as well as serving as Director of Technology Development. Early career experience includes tenure as a Senior Associate at Synapse Energy Economics and a Research Fellow at Project Drawdown. Ariel holds a PhD in Chemical Engineering from Tufts University and a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from Swarthmore College.
