Join the Harvard Office for Sustainability and Harvard Common Spaces for an Earth Day Event on Friday, April 21 from 12 to 2pm on the Science Center Plaza.

Through its Student Organization Funding Pilot Program, the Salata Institute is supporting six student-led projects. The purpose of the program is to promote collaboration among student organizations that jointly undertake climate or sustainability programs, projects, or events.

The Salata Institute’s Student Organization Funding Program supports student organizations across Harvard University that jointly undertake climate-focused initiatives. The purpose of the Program is to encourage student groups with a shared interest in climate change, to collaborate in organizing programs, projects, and events that enrich student learning and contribute to the University’s efforts to meet the global climate challenge.

The Harvard University Center for the Environment offers a summer undergraduate research funding program to support both independent research and research assistants in climate and sustainability.

Funding from a variety of sources is available through the Office of Career Services to support Harvard College undergraduates who pursuing summer internships, research assistantships, and other learning experiences outside of the United States. In 2023, the application deadline is March 9th. Awards for in-country activities range from $5,000 to $10,500.

Harvard University Center for the Environment provides financial support for Harvard student research projects related to the environment either through independent research or research assistantships with Harvard faculty.
