Salata Institute Hosts Second Semesterly Student Meeting
The Salata Institute held a second convening of over 50 students representing more than 30 climate and sustainability student organizations across Harvard University. Attendees heard updates from the Salata Institute and student organization representatives and provided valuable feedback to the Salata Institute.

Harvard Divinity School to Host Climate Justice Week
Harvard Divinity School is hosting a student-led Climate Justice Week from April 10 – 14. This week will provide an opportunity for HDS students and members of the Harvard community to build connections, activate their passion around environmental justice, and understand the role that religion, spirituality, and the Divinity School play in the conversation around climate.

Through its Student Organization Funding Pilot Program, the Salata Institute is supporting six student-led projects. The purpose of the program is to promote collaboration among student organizations that jointly undertake climate or sustainability programs, projects, or events.

The Salata Institute’s Student Organization Funding Program supports student organizations across Harvard University that jointly undertake climate-focused initiatives. The purpose of the Program is to encourage student groups with a shared interest in climate change, to collaborate in organizing programs, projects, and events that enrich student learning and contribute to the University’s efforts to meet the global climate challenge.

Summer Funding for Undergraduates Going Abroad
Funding from a variety of sources is available through the Office of Career Services to support Harvard College undergraduates who pursuing summer internships, research assistantships, and other learning experiences outside of the United States. In 2023, the application deadline is March 9th. Awards for in-country activities range from $5,000 to $10,500.
