Thaís Pinheiro
Thaís Pinheiro is the Project Coordinator for the Salata Institute’s Climate Action Accelerator and the Strengthening Communities Research Cluster.
Prior to her role at Salata, she served as a Finance Intern at INNIO, a leading global company in the renewable energy sector spearheading the transition to net zero. Additionally, Thais has leveraged her expertise in project management and research while working at the Institute of Research and Publications of the International Relations Institute at PUC-Rio.
Thaís’s upbringing in Brazil has instilled in her a profound commitment to environmental conservation. As an expatriate, Thais embraces cultural diversity and fosters a deep appreciation for the richness of global perspectives.
She holds a B.A in International Relations from the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro and is currently a graduate student studying natural resource management through Harvard’s Division of Continuing Education.
The Salata Institute
The Salata Institute supports interdisciplinary research that leads to real-world action, including high-risk/high-reward projects by researchers already working in the climate area and new endeavors that make it easier for Harvard scholars, who have not worked on climate problems, to do so. Faculty interested in the Climate Research Clusters program should note an upcoming deadline for concepts on April 1, 2024.
