
Tamorish Kole
Tamorish Kole is the Director of Emergency Medicine at Dr. D. Y. Patil Medical College, Hospital & Research Centre, Pune, India, and an advisor for emergency care training at the Healthcare Sector Skill Council of India. He is the Past President of the Asian Society for Emergency Medicine and the Society for Emergency Medicine, India, as well as the Chair of the Clinical Practice Committee of the International Federation for Emergency Medicine (IFEM). With over 18 years of experience, he specializes in emergency medicine system development, disaster medicine, clinical governance, and international collaborations. Dr. Kole has held leadership roles at Apollo Gleneagles Hospitals, Max Healthcare, and served as Health Advisor in the Office of Shri Ashwini Kumar Choubey, former Union Minister of State, Health and Family Welfare, Govt of India. An alumnus of the U.S. International Visitor Leadership Program (2013) in Crisis and Disaster Management, he is also a Visiting Professor at the University of South Wales, UK, and an ISQua-nominated expert from India.
The Salata Institute
The Salata Institute supports interdisciplinary research that leads to real-world action, including high-risk/high-reward projects by researchers already working in the climate area and new endeavors that make it easier for Harvard scholars, who have not worked on climate problems, to do so.
