
Safi Ahsan Rizvi
Safi Ahsan Rizvi, currently serves as an advisor at the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) in Delhi, India. In this role, he formulates policy recommendations on disaster risk reduction, focusing on mitigation and reconstruction strategies across various natural hazards. His prior experience includes serving as Special Director at the Ministry of Home Affairs, where he managed national security issues related to geo-strategy and counter-terrorism financing. Rizvi has held significant leadership positions in law enforcement and disaster management throughout his career.
The Salata Institute
The Salata Institute supports interdisciplinary research that leads to real-world action, including high-risk/high-reward projects by researchers already working in the climate area and new endeavors that make it easier for Harvard scholars, who have not worked on climate problems, to do so.
