
Rebecca Reindel
Rebecca Reindel is the Safety and Health Director at the AFL-CIO, where she advocates for improved workplace safety and health policies at federal, state, and international levels. She facilitates collaboration among stakeholders to address workplace hazards, testifies before policymakers, and bridges the gap between shop-floor realities and legislative decision-making. The AFL-CIO is a federation of 60 national labor unions, representing 12.5 million workers across diverse industries in the United States.
The Salata Institute
The Salata Institute supports interdisciplinary research that leads to real-world action, including high-risk/high-reward projects by researchers already working in the climate area and new endeavors that make it easier for Harvard scholars, who have not worked on climate problems, to do so. Faculty interested in the Climate Research Clusters program should note an upcoming deadline for concepts on April 1, 2024.
