
Rajan Rawal
Rajan Rawal is a Professor at CEPT University and Senior Advisor at the Center for Advanced Research in Building Science and Energy (CARBSE). His work focuses on energy performance in buildings and cities, with expertise in passive design, net-zero energy buildings, and urban microclimates. He has contributed to national and international initiatives, including the Bureau of Energy Efficiency, the International Energy Agency, and the Global Cooling Prize. Prof. Rawal has received fellowships from ASHRAE and IBPSA, recognizing his contributions to sustainable building practices and architectural science education.
The Salata Institute
The Salata Institute supports interdisciplinary research that leads to real-world action, including high-risk/high-reward projects by researchers already working in the climate area and new endeavors that make it easier for Harvard scholars, who have not worked on climate problems, to do so.
