
Poornima Prabhakaran
Poornima Prabhakaran is the Director of the Centre for Health Analytics and Research Trends, Trivedi School of Biosciences, Ashoka University, India. The center is focused on the establishment of a strong repository of evidence-based research on a range of issues impacting population health. She’s also Senior Research Scientist, Head of Environmental Health, and Deputy Director of the
Centre for Chronic Disease Control, a Indian non-profit organization that advances research on chronic diseases. Previously, Prabhakaran was the Director of the Centre for Environmental Health at the Public Health Foundation of India.
The Salata Institute
The Salata Institute supports interdisciplinary research that leads to real-world action, including high-risk/high-reward projects by researchers already working in the climate area and new endeavors that make it easier for Harvard scholars, who have not worked on climate problems, to do so. Faculty interested in the Climate Research Clusters program should note an upcoming deadline for concepts on April 1, 2024.
