
Nidhi Upadhyaya
Nidhi Upadhyaya is the deputy director for global policy and finance at the Atlantic Council’s Adrienne Arsht–Rockefeller Foundation Resilience Center, where she leads the adaptation finance and policy pillar and regional engagement in South Asia. Before joining Arsht-Rock in 2019, she worked at the Atlantic Council’s South Asia Center and contributed to initiatives on financial inclusion and resilience building. Upadhyaya has also held roles with Bower Group Asia and ET NOW, and she supported systems transformation efforts under the UN’s Race to Resilience campaign in 2021.
The Salata Institute
The Salata Institute supports interdisciplinary research that leads to real-world action, including high-risk/high-reward projects by researchers already working in the climate area and new endeavors that make it easier for Harvard scholars, who have not worked on climate problems, to do so. Faculty interested in the Climate Research Clusters program should note an upcoming deadline for concepts on April 1, 2024.
