Molly Craft is the Student Program Manager at the Salata Institute for Climate and Sustainability at Harvard University. In this role, she supports students across Harvard in connecting their academic interests to real-world climate careers, funding opportunities, and community.
Molly brings a breadth of experience across sustainability, community engagement, and program management. Prior to joining the Salata Institute, she served as a Project Manager at New Ecology, Inc., where she managed green building compliance for affordable multifamily housing projects across Massachusetts and represented the organization at public conferences and events. Before that she worked as a Customer Care Specialist at Solaris Renewables, supporting residential solar customers through every stage of project installation and service. Earlier in her career, she served as a Community Outreach and Education Fellow at the Center for EcoTechnology, where she designed and delivered more than 80 regional outreach events and managed relationships with over 50 community and business partners.
She holds a B.S. in Environmental Conservation from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and holds LEED AP, PHIUS Certified Consultant, and Rater Field Inspector credentials.
The Salata Institute
The Salata Institute supports interdisciplinary research that leads to real-world action, including high-risk/high-reward projects by researchers already working in the climate area and new endeavors that make it easier for Harvard scholars, who have not worked on climate problems, to do so. Faculty interested in the Climate Research Clusters program should note an upcoming deadline for concepts on April 1, 2024.
