
Mary McBryde
Mary McBryde is Co-Founder and Chief Program Officer at Climate Resilience for All (CRA), a global climate adaptation NGO focusing on strengthening the health and livelihoods of women and other vulnerable communities from climate-driven extreme heat. Mary’s achievements include working with nonprofit, philanthropic, and community-based organizations and private investors to mobilize financial resources to protect people and the planet from the impacts of climate change and biodiversity loss. She brings deep expertise in philanthropy, strategy and program development, women-centered heat resilience and action, conservation, community development, and coalition-building.
The Salata Institute
The Salata Institute supports interdisciplinary research that leads to real-world action, including high-risk/high-reward projects by researchers already working in the climate area and new endeavors that make it easier for Harvard scholars, who have not worked on climate problems, to do so. Faculty interested in the Climate Research Clusters program should note an upcoming deadline for concepts on April 1, 2024.
