
Lubaina Rangwala
Lubaina Rangwala is the Program Head of Urban Development and Resilience at WRI India, focusing on green infrastructure, nature-based solutions, and resilience in vulnerable Indian communities. She has led the development of the Urban Community Resilience Assessment at WRI, incorporating gender, equity, and inclusion in city resilience plans. Previously, she worked on urban transformation projects with the KRVIA design cell and the World Bank, and in the U.S., she helped develop local economic strategies and set up an online building approvals portal.
The Salata Institute
The Salata Institute supports interdisciplinary research that leads to real-world action, including high-risk/high-reward projects by researchers already working in the climate area and new endeavors that make it easier for Harvard scholars, who have not worked on climate problems, to do so. Faculty interested in the Climate Research Clusters program should note an upcoming deadline for concepts on April 1, 2024.
