Jennifer Noon is the Director of Events Strategy and Management at the Salata Institute for Climate and Sustainability at Harvard University. Jennifer joined the institute from the Harvard Innovation Labs, where she supported the design and delivery of events and programming for Harvard student and alumni entrepreneurs.
Jennifer thrives in a mission driven environment and prior to her work at Harvard she spent 8 years working in the UK charity sector. Working in her native Scotland for the UK’s largest children’s charity and then relocating to London to work for Parkinson’s UK. Her professional portfolio includes a variety of events from high-profile receptions to large awareness and fundraising events.
Jennifer holds a BA (Hons) in festival, events and marketing management from Edinburgh Napier University. In 2018, she relocated to Boston to explore life in the USA.
The Salata Institute
The Salata Institute supports interdisciplinary research that leads to real-world action, including high-risk/high-reward projects by researchers already working in the climate area and new endeavors that make it easier for Harvard scholars, who have not worked on climate problems, to do so. Faculty interested in the Climate Research Clusters program should note an upcoming deadline for concepts on April 1, 2024.
