Jamey Rosenfield
James Rosenfield is Founder and Co-Chairman of CERAWeek, and creator of the Innovation Agora. He is Co-Founder with Daniel Yergin of Cambridge Energy Research Associates (CERA), now part of S&P Global, where he serves as Senior Advisor. Over four decades he has led and contributed to a host of CERA and S&P thought leadership and energy industry initiatives.
Rosenfield serves as Life Trustee of Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution, Trustee of the Boston Museum of Science, and on the boards of a variety of energy technology startups. He was a 2024-2025 Fellow at Harvard’s Advanced Leadership Initiative (ALI) and previously was Senior Fellow at the Mossavar-Rahmani Center for Business and Government at Harvard Kennedy School. He received his undergraduate education at Harvard College and holds an MBA from Boston University.
The Salata Institute
The Salata Institute supports interdisciplinary research that leads to real-world action, including high-risk/high-reward projects by researchers already working in the climate area and new endeavors that make it easier for Harvard scholars, who have not worked on climate problems, to do so. Faculty interested in the Climate Research Clusters program should note an upcoming deadline for concepts on April 1, 2024.
