Emilly Fan
Emilly Fan is an MBA candidate at Harvard Business School. She graduated from Harvard College with a degree in Environmental Science and Public Policy, where she led the Harvard Undergraduate Clean Energy Group and directed the MIT Energy Conference.
Prior to HBS, Emilly completed her master’s degree at Tsinghua University as a Schwarzman Scholar and worked for the Boston Consulting Group, supporting clients in the power and utilities sector with their energy transition efforts. Her focus on climate diplomacy and cross-sector decarbonization extends globally through her work with the World Economic Forum, the United Nations Development Programme, and New Zealand’s Ministry for the Environment.
The Salata Institute
The Salata Institute supports interdisciplinary research that leads to real-world action, including high-risk/high-reward projects by researchers already working in the climate area and new endeavors that make it easier for Harvard scholars, who have not worked on climate problems, to do so. Faculty interested in the Climate Research Clusters program should note an upcoming deadline for concepts on April 1, 2024.
