
Dileep Mavlankar
Dileep Mavlankar a Distinguished Professor of Public Health & Former Director
Indian Institute of Public Health, Gandhinagar. He is also Senior Consultant, Global Unit for Disaster and Climate Risk Management (IDURM) of the World Bank (GFDRR). His research focuses on maternal health, health policy, and programme management, and he has been an advisor to several national and international organizations. Prof. Mavlankar has also been part of key government initiatives, including the National Rural Health Mission and the Steering Group on Health for India’s 12th Five-Year Plan.
The Salata Institute
The Salata Institute supports interdisciplinary research that leads to real-world action, including high-risk/high-reward projects by researchers already working in the climate area and new endeavors that make it easier for Harvard scholars, who have not worked on climate problems, to do so. Faculty interested in the Climate Research Clusters program should note an upcoming deadline for concepts on April 1, 2024.
