Claudio Cambon
Claudio Cambon has been a photographer for 35 years, known for his extensive work in the Indian Subcontinent. He documented the dismantling of an American merchant ship in Chittagong, Bangladesh, a project published as the book “Shipbreak” by Edition Patrick Frey, Zurich, in September 2015. He also captured religious festivals across the region on a Fulbright Fellowship. Claudio spent nearly five years photographing stepwells across India, culminating in his second book: “To Reach the Source: The Stepwells of India,” released in February 2025 by ORO Editions of Novato, CA.
The Salata Institute
The Salata Institute supports interdisciplinary research that leads to real-world action, including high-risk/high-reward projects by researchers already working in the climate area and new endeavors that make it easier for Harvard scholars, who have not worked on climate problems, to do so. Faculty interested in the Climate Research Clusters program should note an upcoming deadline for concepts on April 1, 2024.
