
Caleb Dresser
Caleb Dresser is an emergency physician whose work focuses on the impacts of climate change on healthcare systems and patient outcomes. His research includes developing and testing resources for clinicians and administrators, analyzing operational and medical records data, and using spatial methods to assess risks to healthcare facilities. He is an Assistant Professor of Emergency Medicine at Harvard Medical School and an Assistant Professor in Environmental Health at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. He also serves as Assistant Director of the Physician Fellowship in Climate and Human Health and leads healthcare solutions initiatives at the Harvard Chan Center for Climate, Health, and the Global Environment.
The Salata Institute
The Salata Institute supports interdisciplinary research that leads to real-world action, including high-risk/high-reward projects by researchers already working in the climate area and new endeavors that make it easier for Harvard scholars, who have not worked on climate problems, to do so. Faculty interested in the Climate Research Clusters program should note an upcoming deadline for concepts on April 1, 2024.
