Arti Ahuja
Arti Ahuja has held various senior-level positions in the government of India over a career spanning 34 years. She has steered implementation as well as policymaking in different positions in Odisha, the National Academy of Administration Mussoorie, and in the Union Govt, including in the Health Ministry Govt of India during the COVID pandemic. Many system reforms initiated by her, especially in health, nutrition, and issues relating to women, have been nationally and internationally recognized.
The Salata Institute
The Salata Institute supports interdisciplinary research that leads to real-world action, including high-risk/high-reward projects by researchers already working in the climate area and new endeavors that make it easier for Harvard scholars, who have not worked on climate problems, to do so. Faculty interested in the Climate Research Clusters program should note an upcoming deadline for concepts on April 1, 2024.
