Aditya Pillai
Aditya Valiathan Pillai is a Visiting Fellow at the Sustainable Futures Collaborative and a doctoral researcher at King’s College London. His work focuses on climate adaptation policies, particularly addressing extreme heat in the global south, and exploring climate governance structures. He serves on India’s National Disaster Management Authority’s Technical Advisory Group on Heatwave Mitigation and is an Associate at Harvard’s Lakshmi Mittal South Asia Institute.
The Salata Institute
The Salata Institute supports interdisciplinary research that leads to real-world action, including high-risk/high-reward projects by researchers already working in the climate area and new endeavors that make it easier for Harvard scholars, who have not worked on climate problems, to do so. Faculty interested in the Climate Research Clusters program should note an upcoming deadline for concepts on April 1, 2024.
