Aastha Arora is a public health expert and policy leader with over 14 years of experience in global health policy development. Currently serving at the Asian Development Bank, she has spearheaded large-scale development projects and strategic program implementations across Asia. Aastha’s expertise spans several countries including India, Philippines, and Bangladesh, focusing on enhancing health systems and policy frameworks. Previously, she has been instrumental in launching initiatives like the Ayushman Bharat scheme in India, significantly impacting public health governance.
The Salata Institute
The Salata Institute supports interdisciplinary research that leads to real-world action, including high-risk/high-reward projects by researchers already working in the climate area and new endeavors that make it easier for Harvard scholars, who have not worked on climate problems, to do so. Faculty interested in the Climate Research Clusters program should note an upcoming deadline for concepts on April 1, 2024.
