The mission of the Salata Institute for Climate and Sustainability at Harvard University is to develop and promote durable, effective, and equitable solutions to the climate change challenges confronting humanity. Student interns are vital members of the Salata Institute team seeking to fulfill that mission.

The Salata Institute is currently seeking applications for four paid internship positions for the Fall 2023 semester. Student interns may be offered an option to extend their internship through Spring 2024. Events Intern

The Salata Institute for Climate and Sustainability seeks to hire an Events Intern to support the planning and execution of the Salata Institute’s workshops, speaker series, and other events. The intern will work closely with the Salata Institute’s Program Managers, providing administrative support around event planning and offering staffing support during events.

Project INtern

The Salata Institute for Climate and Sustainability seeks to hire a Project Intern to bolster the Salata Institute project-based work. The intern will work with the Salata Institute’s program managers and communications staff, to help research, curate, and expand the Institute’s network of real-world climate practitioners in government, business, and civil society. The intern’s work will also support planning efforts for the Salata Institute’s 2024 Climate Symposium which will serve as the flagship event of Harvard Climate Action Week 2024.
