In Remembrance of Susan Wojcicki

Throughout an exceptional life and career, Susan devoted herself to making the world better, lending her advocacy, leadership, and creativity to vital causes and initiatives.

Susan was a valued member of the Harvard and Salata Institute community. She was passionate about addressing the climate crisis and leveraging technology for positive change. Together with her husband Dennis, Susan established the Seed Grant Program at the Salata Institute in 2022. To date, this program has made 27 awards to scholars for early-stage and high-risk/high-return climate and sustainability research endeavors across Harvard University.

Susan’s legacy will continue to shape the Salata Institute’s work as we pursue our mission of driving real-world solutions that address all aspects of the climate crisis. Her absence will be deeply felt by all who had the privilege of knowing and working with her at Harvard.
