Harvard Radcliffe Institute Announces 2025–2026 Fellows

Harvard Radcliffe Institute today announced its 26th class of fellows, who will pursue an array of projects that advance bold new thinking across disciplines.
May 15, 2025

This new class also includes two Radcliffe-Salata Climate Justice Fellows:

  • Diana Hernández, from Columbia University, will continue her ongoing research at the intersection of energy, equity, housing, and health. A sociologist by training, Hernández examines social and environmental determinants of health and the impacts of policy and place-based interventions on the health and well-being of socioeconomically disadvantaged populations. Her work is supported by the Ethel and David Jackson Fund for the Future Climate.
  • Rachel Morello-Frosch, of UC Berkeley, will expand and develop new scientific projects, including environmental health and epidemiological studies, to explain the health and equity benefits of climate change policies such as the retirement of fossil fuel plants, reduction of oil and gas development, and nature-based solutions to producing cleaner energy. Her fellowship is sponsored by the Mike and Nina Patterson Catalyst Fund for Climate.

Eleven fellows will be working on projects related to climate change, ranging from the phenomenon of Arctic greening to the impact of extreme weather on women in Southeast Asia and migrant workers in the United States.
