First Civilizations: History and Archaeology of the Ancient Near East
Description
This course introduces the geographies, cultures, and histories of the ancient Near East through a survey of some of the world’s earliest civilizations. Focus is placed upon the regions of Mesopotamia, Egypt and the Levant, and includes comparative material from Anatolia and Iran.
