Celebrate Earth Day at Harvard

Join the Harvard Office for Sustainability and Harvard Common Spaces for an Earth Day Event on Friday, April 21 from 12 to 2pm on the Science Center Plaza.

This Earth Day, the Harvard Office for Sustainability and Harvard Common Spaces are joining forces to offer the Harvard community an opportunity to recycle electronics, get a free bicycle check-up, donate and pick up everyday items, and meet with

  • Want to donate or shop sustainably? This event will feature a Freecycle hosted by the Resource Efficiency Program & Harvard Recycling. Drop off everyday items you no longer need and “shop” for what you need. No donation is required.  
  • Have electronics to recycle? Harvard University Information Technology will be at the event to collect electronics for responsible recycling.
  • Bike commute? Bring your bicycle for a check-up and commute safely and sustainably back home.
  • Interested in connecting with climate and sustainability student groups? Visit tables at the event to learn more about how members of the Harvard community are engaging on sustainability.
