Mitchell Breitbart
Mitchell Breitbart is a first year at Harvard Business School excited about scaling clean energy distribution. He is a member of the Energy and Climate Club at HBS and co-led the Clean Energy Panel at the HBS Climate Symposium.
Mitchell graduated from Williams College with a degree in Computer Science and English Literature. He has spent a decade working in tech, the latter half as product manager for Aurora Solar’s computer-aided design platform, helping accelerate the adoption of solar and storage.
Mitchell plans to continue his career in clean energy after he graduates from HBS. He is passionate about bringing more people into the climate space and building businesses that are sustainable in both senses of the word.
Mitchell has been interested in clean energy since he conducted a study on the feasibility of solar and wind energy at his high school. Outside of work and school, he enjoys just about any sport, especially hiking with his wife.
The Salata Institute
The Salata Institute supports interdisciplinary research that leads to real-world action, including high-risk/high-reward projects by researchers already working in the climate area and new endeavors that make it easier for Harvard scholars, who have not worked on climate problems, to do so. Faculty interested in the Climate Research Clusters program should note an upcoming deadline for concepts on April 1, 2024.
