Climate Action Fellows Program
About the Program:
Climate Action Fellows bring their expertise and experience to the Salata Institute, and they help to broaden the Institute’s network of decisionmakers. They are highly distinguished professionals from all sectors, working to shape and accelerate the adoption of practical solutions to the climate crisis. Climate Action Fellows undertake independent, self-directed projects that culminate in working papers, publications, media coverage of their work, and convenings. They may also voluntarily contribute to the Salata Institute’s mission and goals by becoming involved in the research projects that the Institute is supporting, or by offering study groups or guest lectures for Harvard students, or by participating in Salata Institute events, and related research endeavors. Fellows strengthen the connections that the Institute forges between research and the decisionmakers who may benefit from the critical knowledge that Harvard University is producing.
Criteria and Expectations:
An applicant’s project interests must closely align with the Salata Institute’s mission. Fellows must be in residence at the Salata Institute at Harvard University’s campus in Cambridge, MA for five days per semester.
