Inside GE Vernova’s Safety Data and Systems: At GE Vernova, a safety-first culture protects workers and keeps critical energy infrastructure reliable. In this seminar, Alan Hanley, EHS Global Digital Lead, will show how the company uses EHS data at scale: what is collected, the systems that move it from the field to decisions, and applied AI pilots that support safer, more reliable operations across a global portfolio.

About the speaker: Alan Hanley is EHS Digital Leader for GE Vernova supporting the company’s global enterprise EHS function to protect people and communities around the world.

About the series: The HDSI Data Science in Industry Seminar series provides the opportunity for Harvard students, faculty, and postdoctoral fellows to hear directly from industry data scientists about the role data science plays in their organization, the methods and techniques being used, and their own career trajectory.
