All Hands on Deck for Harvard Climate Action Week

The climate crisis touches every discipline we teach, research, and learn here at Harvard University. That’s why every School at Harvard is home to students and scholars working to meet the climate challenge. Harvard Climate Action Week, May 8 –12, 2023, is a celebration and acceleration of that work. Led by the Salata Institute for Climate and Sustainability and hosted by Schools and centers across Harvard, Harvard Climate Action Week will convene thousands of experts, decision-makers, students, alumni, and scholars across campus and online.

Connecting Climate Change and Health

Spurred by the efforts of students and faculty, Harvard Medical School will add climate change and health as one of the priority societal themes of its MD curriculum—officially embedding it into all four years of the curriculum and tracking it with accountability.

The Salata Institute Sponsors Six Student-Led Projects Across Campus 

Through its Student Organization Funding Pilot Program, the Salata Institute is supporting six student-led projects. The purpose of the program is to promote collaboration among student organizations that jointly undertake climate or sustainability programs, projects, or events.
