Topics in Political Philosophy
Description
First, we will aim to identify the most important criteria for a theory of intergenerational justice adequate to the climate crisis. Second, we will aim to evaluate attempts to overcome obstacles to satisfying these criteria represented by difficult unsolved problems in population ethics, environmental ethics, the philosophy of economics, the ethics of risk imposition, and various problems in non-ideal theory.
